OFFICIAL RULES - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Step #1: Beginning 1/19/07, create a free Bix.com account and follow the on-screen directions to upload no more than 3 photos of yourself with various looks and composition i.e., headshots and full body (no nudity). Entries must be submitted by 6:59PM ET on 4/18/07.
Step #2: Promote yourself! Share your Bix.com URL with your friends and family and ask them to create a free Bix.com account and vote for your entry. Be sure to comply with the Bix.com Terms Of Service Agreement; noncompliance with this or any other Official Rule will result in disqualification.
Photos must only depict the entrant and content submitted must be owned by the entrant. All participants are bound by the Bix.com Service Agreement. Any entry submitted by entrant, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is deemed inappropriate (e.g., defamation, nudity, violence, inappropriate acts, etc.) will be removed and the entrant will be disqualified. All content should be in English. You may enter more than once; however, each entry must be unique.
2. VOTING:
The Bix audience will vote on their favorite models through Bix's intuitive Face-Off feature. The general voting period will end at 6:59pm ET on 4/18/07. On or about 4/19/07, Bix.com will total the number of eligible votes and award the prize to the winner, subject to verification of eligibility. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be judged by Sponsor to determine the most entertaining performance. If the same faceoff appears twice when voting only the latter vote will count.
3. PRIZE:
Prizes consist only of the items listed as the prize.
4. GENERAL RULES:
Open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who, as of date of Bix.com registration, have attained the age of majority in their state of residence, or are emancipated minors, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Official Rules and the Bix.com Service Agreement. If the winner is under 18 years of age, he or she must be accomodated by a parent or guardian. You may not submit anything to the Site, or provide any information about yourself, to Bix.com unless you are at least 13 years old, even if you have the consent of a parent or guardian to do so. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Bix.com, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion agencies, and their immediate families and those living in same household of each are not eligible. Employees of Solomodels, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion agencies, and their immediate families and those living in same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Potential Finalist winners will be notified by email and must respond within 4 days of transmission. Potential Finalist winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release Form within 7 days of receipt. Noncompliance within these time periods may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be determined. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable emails resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user's internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user's email account to receive email. Winner may make no substitution or transfer of prize. All federal, state and local income taxes are sole responsibility of winner. If technical malfunctions or suspect selections/irregularities corrupt the voting portion of the competition, sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award prize based solely on non-suspect online votes. Sponsor not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected mail/e-mail or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor not responsible for any damage to any participant's computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or the like methods of participation (including voting) will void all such submissions by such methods. If for any reason the promotion is canceled, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside control of Sponsor or its promotional partners which impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the competition and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the competition. By participating in this competition, participants certify that he/she has followed the Official Rules of this competition, complied with the Bix.com Service Agreement. All entrants consent to use of name, likeness, entry material in any manner by Sponsor or its promotional partners for advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any competition materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. Winner assumes all liability for any injury, damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. By accepting a prize, winners agree that The Marketing Group, Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, its affiliates and sponsors, related companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, are not responsible for and will be held harmless by winner for any liability, for any loss, injury or damage to person or property, including death, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly to the possession, acceptance, use or misuse of any prize, or participation in this Contest.
